Globe throws support to government against cybercrime.

Globe Telecom rallies behind the government’s drive to combat cybercrime during the 1^st National Summit on Cybercrime as the official telco partner of the summit. Globe IT-Enabled Services Group (IG) Head of IT Infrastructure Apol Salud (in photo, center) showcases the telco’s numerous initiatives to help prevent crimes committed using computer networks and the internet to Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief P/Dir. General Alan Purisima (right). According to Salud, Globe intends to work closely with the PNP, the Department of Justice and the National Bureau of Investigation by launching a suite of IT security solutions that will address cybercrime concerns.
