Globe Telecom recently welcomed top executives of the Asia Cloud Computing Association (ACCA), an industry association composed of companies from the cloud computing ecosystem in Asia, as it held its Quarterly Members' Meeting and Quarterly Board Meeting at The Globe Tower in Taguig City, Philippines. According to its Cloud Readiness Index, the Philippines scaled up two spots in the rankings in terms of cloud adoption in Asia last year – from No. 12 to No. 10 – ahead of Vietnam, India, Indonesia and China. Established in 2010, the ACCA’s primary mission is to accelerate the growth of the cloud market in Asia, providing a neutral platform for members to discuss implementation and growth strategies, share ideas, and establish policies and best practices relating to the cloud computing ecosystem. With its membership in the ACCA, Globe keeps abreast with the latest developments in cloud technology and a primary enabler of cloud solutions for local businesses.
