AirAsia Zest increases Manila – Incheon to 2X daily, adds new direct flights to Taipei from Kalibo (Boracay) starting 15th April

MANILA, 17 March 2014 –  AirAsia Zest, the Filipino Low Cost Carrier that flies hand in hand with AirAsia, voted the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier for five consecutive years, will increase frequency for Manila – Incheon route to twice daily in response to the growth in traffic between Philippines and South Korea.
Starting 1st May 2014, AirAsia Zest's Manila-Incheon services will increase from once to twice daily while new direct flights between Kalibo (Boracay) and Taipei will operate daily beginning 15th April 2014.

Joy Caneba, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of AirAsia Zest said, “Our new daily double services between Manila and Incheon open up new affordable access between countries especially this summer when more and more Koreans are looking forward to bask in the Philippine sun while Filipinos are equally excited about the pleasant weather in Seoul and its modern skyscrapers, majestic palace, shopping districts and historical attractions.” 

In conjunction with the announcement, AirAsia Zest will be giving away promo seats for Manila – Incheon from as low as Php599 base fare only which areavailable for booking online at www.airasia.com from 12.00PM tomorrow, 19th March until 30th March 2014.  Travel period for this promo is from 1st May to 30th June 2014.

Promo fares for Kalibo (Boracay) to Taipei, meanwhile, are available starting today until 30th March 2014 from as low as Php888 base fare only and thetravel period would be from 15th April to 30th June 2014.

“AirAsia Zest’s newest routes seek to better serve our overseas Filipinos while helping drive tourist traffic by providing more low-cost options for travel.” Caneba said.

Apart from the website, promo seats can also be booked via AirAsia’s mobile apps which are available on iPhone, Android devices, the Blackberry Z10 and now on the Windows Phone platform as well. Simply search AirAsia on the respective app stores to download and start booking!
