Leading telecommunications company Globe Telecom garnered
four major accolades during the gala banquet of the prestigious 10thAnnual
International Business Awards (IBA) or widely known as the Stevie Awards held
at the W Hotel, Barcelona, Spain recently.
From a total of 3,300 nominations from over 50 countries,
Globe received two Gold Awards, one for GCASH American Express Virtual Pay
launch campaign for easy and secure online shopping under the New Product or
Service Introduction of the Year; and another for Tattoo Broadband’s Marked for
Greatness drive which won the Marketing Campaign of the Year for
Telecommunications through Harrison Communications, Inc.
The annual Tatts Awards which recognizes individuals and groups who use
social media to make positive change in their community, bagged the Silver
Stevie for Best Public Relations Event while the Globe My Fair Share Program
grabbed the Bronze Stevie for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the
Year in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. My Fair Share empowers the
communities being aided by Globe through livelihood opportunities and market
access.
