Globe Telecom renewed its partnership with Puregold Price Club as part of its commitment to support Filipino entrepreneurs as one of the major sponsors in the recently-concluded ‘Tindahan ni Aling Puring Sari-sari Store Convention, the biggest gathering of small entrepreneurs in the country.
Around 200,000 Aling Puring members were treated to four (4) days of special promo offers, discounts, prizes, and freebies at the Convention.
Globe also powered the simultaneous live broadcast of the convention using its high-speed broadband services which was held for the first time in three venues—World Trade Center in Pasay City (Metro Manila), Malolos City in Bulacan (North Luzon), and Tagaytay City in Cavite (South Luzon) from May 22 to 25.

We launched the Aling Puring Super Suki SIM, a special multi-function SIM card exclusively available for Aling Puring Members that enabled them to receive text blast announcements and promos under special call & text rates. With the SIM card, Aling Puring members sold prepaid loads as additional source of income. We also launched an alternative reload channel through POS that enabled Globe and TM subscribers as well AutoloadMAX retailers to buy load from any Puregold checkout counter. We are looking forward to a stronger and mutually-beneficial alliance with Puregold in the years to come,” shared Globe Consumer Sales Group Head Bernie Llamzon.
With the theme “TENkyu Po, Ka-Asenso,” the Puregold Convention brought together its loyal customers under its flagship Tindahan ni Aling Puring program as well as trade partners to discuss new and fast-moving products, trends and marketing strategies designed for small business owners.
The Tindahan ni Aling Puring program, which has attracted over 230,000 members from Metro Manila and Luzon, is a customized service Puregold rolled out a decade ago to help aspiring entrepreneurs set up their businesses, equip them with skills and bridge them to micro-financing institutions
Aside from Globe, over 150 Puregold trade partners participated in the conventions, providing product sampling, business workshops, and entertainment.
